Turing Fest Twitter-View with Purna Virji

Alongside sponsoring and exhibiting at Turing Fest, we’ve selected key speakers, so our community can learn more about some of the Search world’s biggest influencers.

Follow @DeepCrawl on Twitter to get summaries of each interview and read on for the complete piece:

The timing of Turing Fest is a beautiful thing, what with the 70th anniversary of Fringe Festival and events ranging from comedic gin tastings to cabaret to dancing bears…

What are you looking forward to most & what was your favourite show in the past?

“I’m thrilled to visit Scotland for the very first time – Edinburgh has long been on my travel wish list. The marketing community in Scotland is diverse, vibrant and incredibly creative- I’ve been lucky to chat with quite a few Scottish marketers during previous events in the U.K. I’m really looking forward to getting to chat with attendees and get to watch some incredible speakers.”

Outside of the Marketing track, what peaks your interest?

“I’m really looking forward to the Fireside chat with Gareth Williams from Skyscanner. They’ve been doing a fantastic job with integrating customer-centric emerging tech like chatbots and skills and I’m looking forward to hearing more about their plans for the future.”

Where can we see you speak next?

“In the US I’ll be speaking again at INBOUND Boston in September, a phenomenal event with 20,000 attendees and speakers such as Michelle Obama and Brene Brown. In the U.K., I’ll be back for SearchLove London in October.”

Purna is Senior Training Manager at Microsoft, an international conference speaker, and ranked the #1 Most Influential PPC Expert in the world by PPC Hero.

Don’t miss her speak on Marketing in a Conversational World: How to Get Discovered, Delight Your Customers and Earn the Conversion at Turing Fest at 11.40am on the 3rd of August, 2017.
