The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing and developing SE team. This exciting stage of growth at Deepcrawl means that you will be the first Solutions Engineer based in the US at Deepcrawl. This role will be crucial to the success of the Enterprise Sales team and your impact will be pivotal. As an SE at Deepcrawl, you will be on a mission to present solutions to existing and potential customers. You will be helping individuals, teams and whole organisations understand how Deepcrawl’s solutions can help them to solve some of their websites’ biggest challenges.

The Team:

The Commercial team is made up of diverse backgrounds and experience. Made up of Deepcrawl veterans, tack-sharp SDRs and experienced Account Executives. We are responsible for closing business that furthers the growth and development of the Deepcrawl product. We engage in conversations with qualified leads across eCommerce, Publishing, Travel and FMCG.

Your Background & Skills:

  • Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineer at a SaaS company (preferably selling high value MarTech, BI, SEO, CRM solutions)
  • Or an SEO Consultant/Account Manager who has used Deepcrawl (or similar tools) extensively with selling/comparable experience
  • Understanding of SEO/Digital Marketing is highly desired
  • Experienced in providing customized demonstrations to users and decision makers alike
  • Experience in how to position, justify and close high value business
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • An altruistic, quick-thinking, driven and motivated self-starter
  • Innately curious with the confidence to ask questions to learn more
  • Familiarity with Analytics tools (Google/Adobe) and Search Console would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with REGEX and/or xpath. JS scripting would be beneficial
  • GraphQL API experience would be a big bonus but is not necessary

Your Responsibilities

  • Capture, translate and understand SEO challenges and offer solutions to help shape a positive and enjoyable buying experience
  • Present the full Deepcrawl solution to all levels of seniority to ensure that the capabilities of the platform are fully understood and appreciated
  • To become a Deepcrawl solutions expert to enable enjoyable and effective solutions demonstrations
  • Support in the development and positioning of RFI/RFP documentation and processes
  • Share knowledge, ideas and custom solutions with the wider team
  • Act as a conduit of information and insight to help support product feedback to support our roadmap
  • Be available to support other internal teams including Marketing, Professional Services & Product

Within the first month, you’ll:

Learn, absorb and shadow. Primarily, we will immerse you in the world of Deepcrawl’s platform, technical SEO and the key problems and challenges Deepcrawl customers face, our sales process, tools and team.

Within three months, you’ll:

Have a strong foundational knowledge of Deepcrawl’s value proposition across different verticals and be able to clearly articulate and communicate our solution. You will begin to cut your teeth with some potential new customers, providing customized demonstrations of Deepcrawl’s full solution, all the while sharpening your skills with Deepcrawl’s platform and offering.

Within six months you’ll:

 

You will have built your Deepcrawl knowledge to the point that you are now self-sufficient and regularly wow-ing our potential customers. You’ll begin to be highly skilled in demonstrating all of the coolest customized functionality within Deepcrawl’s platform and be able to provide tailored solutions to problems that people are facing without hesitation.

Within 12 months you’ll:

Be a consistent source of knowledge and insight for potential customers and the team at Deepcrawl. You’ll be an integral cog in our US sales machine. You’ll be supporting the biggest and most exciting potential partnerships, as a trusted partner and advisor to potential and existing customers who are evaluating our solution.
