Duplicate Page Sets
What does this report contain?
This reports shows the sets of duplicated pages that share an identical title, description and near identical content with other pages found in the same crawl. Only the primary page with the highest DeepRank from each set of duplicated pages is shown to represent each duplicate set. 2 examples of duplicate pages within each of duplicate sets are included with the primary page.
How can this report be used?
Duplicate pages can result in the dilution of authority signals and social shares, which can affect the potential performance and reduce the crawl efficiency of the site. This report shows the number of instances of duplication of a page, not the total number of duplicate pages. In each case, it's likely that the primary duplicate shown is the main version which should be kept, and all duplicates of these pages should be resolved by removing internal links to the URLs, redirecting all duplicate URLs to the primary URL, or adding canonical tags which point to the primary duplicate.
